This December marks the end of another year spent empowering publishers to acquire, engage, and retain a loyal player base – and this year, we even expanded that commitment to mobile app categories beyond gaming. 

As we approach 2026, here’s a look back at the product evolutions, client wins, and industry insights that defined our 2025.

3 new products to drive LTV

2025 was a significant year for play-and-earn products, as we launched three new solutions for mobile game and app publishers to drive LTV. 

Mistplay for iPhone: Rewarded gaming meets new scale

This year marked the highly anticipated launch of Mistplay for iPhone, bringing new dimensions of scale and inventory and offering more opportunities for publishers to acquire, monetize, and nurture loyal, high-value players. Mistplay for iPhone offers a dual approach to play-and-earn, rewarding users for completing in-game events and challenging them to compete in Tournaments for deeper engagement. 

LoyaltyPlay: Gaming-based monetization for mobile apps

Mobile app publishers across verticals can now monetize their entire user base and generate a consistent revenue stream with LoyaltyPlay, a gaming reward hub where app publishers get paid per game install from mobile game advertisers.

  • For app publishers, LoyaltyPlay is a gaming reward hub that is continuously evolving to monetize your users and create a deep engagement loop through the power of play-and-earn. 
  • For mobile game advertisers, LoyaltyPlay unlocks new inventory that expands Mistplay’s reach into new app genres to provide high-value users at scale.  

HEX: Integrated play-and-earn for mobile game monetization

HEX is our first true in-game monetization solution. By integrating play-and-earn directly into the game experience, publishers see a boost in ARPDAU and improved engagement as players earn rewards for progressing deeper into gameplay loops.

These new products were developed alongside continuous evolutions to our core product, Mistplay for Android. From a new onboarding flow, to improvements on our supplemental engagement features like Buddy Quests and Tournaments, we’re continuing to enable publishers to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention across global markets.

Our Mobile Gaming Across Markets Report unpacks these dynamics with insights from thousands of players across the US, UK, South Korea, and Japan to equip publishers with a practical playbook to navigate regional nuances and capture growth in the world’s most competitive gaming markets.

Global mobile gaming & adtech events 

Mistplay’s presence expanded across North America, EMEA, and APAC in 2025, with five flagship events anchoring our global strategy and creating meaningful opportunities to connect with partners, share insights, and showcase the future of loyalty-driven growth.

Flagship events in 2025 include: 

  • GDC 2025: From productive partner meetings at the St. Regis to an intimate VIP dinner at The Boulevard, GDC set the tone for a year of deeper industry collaboration.
  • MAU 2025: A milestone MAU where we unveiled Mistplay for iPhone and LoyaltyPlay unveiled live on stage by our CEO, Tricia Han, followed by our Press Start Party at Whiskey Down – marking one of our biggest MAU activations to date.
  • ChinaJoy 2025: We spent two days at the Shanghai New International Expo Center launching our new products for the APAC market, providing key industry insights, and ending the event with our Prompt Night Party in collaboration with great partners. Read the highlight. 
  • Tokyo Game Show 2025: Our second year at TGS brought new connections and strong interest in loyalty-driven growth – capped off with Nightmare in Tokyo, a standout after-party attended by more than 400 industry professionals.
  • G-STAR 2025: We returned to Busan with a memorable “Grill & Chill” event co-hosted with Com2us and Tencent Cloud, welcoming over 200 guests for an evening of great food, conversations, and connection.

Beyond our flagship moments, we also held a range of regional touchpoints – including offline workshops, publisher seminars, and speaking engagements at events like PGC Korea – strengthening our relationships and expanding our footprint across key markets. 

Additionally, this year marked the early expansion of our footprint outside of the gaming industry with attendance at events such as Money 20/20 and CJU 2025 to introduce app publishers to the power of gaming offers with LoyaltyPlay.

In 2025, we were also able to capture some highlights of the success our publisher clients found when taking a loyalty-first approach with Mistplay. 

  • Playlinks: Boosted D7 ROAS by 36% in South Korea across Social Casino and Card titles (AniPang Matgo, AniPang Poker)
  • 37Games: Outperformed rewarded channels by 30% for strategy title Ant Legion in South Korea
  • Ovivo: Achieved a 3.5% lift in LTV across a 20-game hyper-casual and hybrid portfolio
